No Audio Output Device is installed
So where is the device? Or is there anything else I can do to restore my audio. It is an HP pavilion entertainment pc dvus.
I believe I gave this to you before. Sound Icon is with a red circle with a “x”.

I kept pavipion error messages stating that it may have not installed properly. In device manager the only things listed under sound is the bluetooth hands free audio and blue tooth stereo audio.

You will have to use Device Manager to install the Ricoh card reader controller drivers. Little speaker with the red ‘x’ appeared yesterday I have gone through the whole update drivers circus to no avail, my laptop can’t detect that it has speakers built in so it doesn’t bother finding pavlion driver for them.
When I open up the Sound window cv9700 under the playback tab there is no audio device installed. It is the same audio controller I have in my dvus.
